We believe in innovation, and work hard to stay up-to-date with current technology and best practices. As a result, we shoot with Sony EX-1 and EX-3 as well as DSLR cameras. We light with LED lighting, and we edit with Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut. We use AfterEffects for our motion graphics and special effects.
At the same time, we recognize the primacy of story-telling, the element that will never change regardless of how technology advances. Effective story-telling is the foundation for all effective video, and without it as the central element, videos fail. Doesn't matter how good they look or sound, how much time went into shooting or editing, how beautiful the image quality. If the story doesn't work, the video doesn't work.
So how do we incorporate effective story-telling into our videos?
We start by understanding our clients' businesses. What is the product or service, and who buys it? Are all customers the same, or are there specific groups with specific characteristics? Where does the business find them and connect with them?
Then - what is the message these customers or prospects need to hear? How can we communicate that message most effectively?
Once this work is done, we move on to production - to creating high-quality videos that have a specific job to do, and do it with visual excellence.
